The Genius Square is a puzzle game from The Happy Puzzle Company, with a board featuring a 6x6 grid, seven blocker pieces, nine coloured puzzle shapes and dice marked with letter-and-number coordinates.
Before play begins, the player rolls all the dice together and places a blocker on each indicated square. The aim is then to fit the nine coloured shapes onto the grid so that every remaining square is filled. It can look impossible, but there is always at least one solution.
The game is for 1 or 2 players from 6 years: play solo against the clock, or race an opponent to fill the grid first. The dice create a different layout each time, giving 62,208 possible puzzles in total.
A great gift for children and adults who enjoy logic games and spatial puzzles, and thanks to its compact box, easy to take along when travelling or visiting family.
