Pim Pam Pet is the question-and-answer game that Jumbo describes on the box as one for the whole family. Someone spins the green dial, which comes to rest on a letter. A card is then read out with a category on it, and whoever first calls out a fitting answer beginning with that letter wins the card.
The categories on the cards are everyday things: a TV series, a colour, a tool, a flower, an actor or actress, a relative. No prior knowledge is needed, only the knack of thinking of something quickly. Each card carries a category at both ends, so one card is good for two questions.
The box gives 8+, 2 to 10 players and about 30 minutes. It is a bilingual Dutch-French box with cards in both languages, which helps in a bilingual household or at a birthday with mixed company.
A dependable choice for the holidays and for family visits, where the ages around the table tend to be far apart.
