The set is meant for eight flowers in four kinds: gerbera, camellia, anemone and peony. The petals come pre-cut; your child shapes them with a small tool that takes six interchangeable heads, arranges them layer over layer and fixes them to one of the eight stems with a green calyx.
The heart of the flower is the nicest piece of work. The box holds a bag of plaster, a casting mould and a spatula for casting your own flower centres. Plaster is porous, so once two drops of scented essence go on with the micro-pipette supplied, the centre holds that scent for a long time. The 10 ml bottle is included.
Six clear tube vases click together with feet and connectors, so the bouquet turns out as long or as short as you like. Six flowers stand in those; for the other two there are paper flower sleeves to give away. Also in the box: three pots of pearlescent paint with blenders and ten sheets of foam rubber.
Bear in mind that the plaster needs water and that glue and a brush are not included. The box measures 42 x 28.4 x 6.1 cm and weighs a little over a kilo - a present for a child who likes working at something for a long time.
