Archéo-Ludic Vélociraptor comes from Clementoni's Science & Jeu range. The box holds a block of earth with the bones of a velociraptor hidden inside, together with the small hammer you free them with.
The box sets out the three steps itself: dig in the block of earth, find the forgotten fossils and rebuild the skeleton. That last step asks for the most patience, because the bones have to go together in the right order before a dinosaur stands there.
The finished skeleton glows in the dark. Put it under a lamp for a while first, then stand it on the cupboard or beside the bed. The set is made in Italy and the box states 7+.
A gift for children who are mad about dinosaurs and would rather work something out than be handed it ready-made. Digging it out fills a good afternoon, and what is left over is a skeleton to keep.
