The Solar System belongs to the LAB line of Wetenschap & Spel. It is an electronic model: the planets sit on transparent arms around a central sun, which lights up, and the whole thing rotates.
The box sums it up in one line as a rotating, illuminated electronic model with an app, for astronomically much fun. Alongside it stands the invitation the whole range carries: explore space and discover the fantastic planets.
Because the sun in the middle really does light up, the model is something to look at with the lights off as well. Each planet hangs on its own arm around the base, so the order is visible at a glance. The packaging is bilingual, Dutch and French.
The box gives the age as 8+, and the set is made in Italy. A gift for a child who can reel off the planets in order and would like to have the whole thing standing in their own room.
