This robot comes out of the box as a construction kit. Your child assembles it step by step and sees along the way where the electric motors, the Bluetooth board, the speakers and the LED lights go.
Once built it drives around and uses its movable arms to lift small objects and carry them elsewhere. You steer it with the accompanying app, which has various functions for teaching the principles of coding.
It belongs to Clementoni's Wetenschap & Spel Robotica, a range with a STEM approach that trains manual skill, problem solving and logical thinking. Four AA batteries are needed; they are not in the box.
The box states from 8 years. A present for the child who would rather build something than unwrap a finished toy.
