This greenhouse comes as a construction kit. Your child puts it together first and then plants in it: peat, clay granules, seeds and the tools for experimenting with three different growing methods are included.
On top sits a module with an LCD display and sensors. It keeps track of the temperature, the light and the humidity inside, so your child sees what changes when it waters more or less, or moves the greenhouse. Coloured light signals and an alarm indicate when water is needed or when it is getting too warm.
Inside the greenhouse are LED lights you can switch on in the evening to look at the seedlings. That turns germination into something you come and check every day, rather than something you have lost interest in after a week.
