Casting soap and pressing bath bombs - that is what there is to do in this box from Clementoni's Wetenschap & Spel range. You get a mould with shapes, a separate mould for the bath bombs, a soap base, a scented sugar base, a spray bottle, a pipette, a small spatula and an illustrated manual.
Your child pours the soap base into the shape mould and lets it set; the box shows a shell, a heart and a butterfly among others. The bath bombs go into the ball-shaped mould and start fizzing in the bath water. The spray bottle gives every creation a scent of its own.
One thing to know beforehand: the bath bombs need sodium bicarbonate, cornflour and olive oil, and those are not in the box. They are on the shelf in any supermarket. The packaging states 8 years and over.
A fine present for a child who likes crafting and experimenting, and who wants to use or give away the result afterwards.
