Bumba is on the box, and that is half the appeal straight away. Quizzy Bumba is a quiz game from Clementoni in which a child answers questions by tapping the right picture with an electronic pen. The pen responds to that choice, so a three-year-old knows whether it is right without an adult.
The box holds illustrated play boards with 24 educational activities and more than 200 questions between them. On the boards your child looks for the colour or the shape that goes with the picture, always with Bumba in view, so it feels less like practice and more like joining in.
The boards are bound in book form, so the game travels in the car or to the grandparents' without pieces going missing. The packaging states 3-6 years.
A present for a Bumba fan who is just beginning to recognise and name things, and one that is nowhere near finished after a single session.
