Mamie Dans Le Vent! is a Megableu board game built around a rotating clothesline. The box includes a green base, a spinning clothesline, the Mamie figure with glasses and a two-part dress, eight sets of underwear (8 pairs of panties and 8 bras), a die, a sticker sheet and the rules.
On your turn you roll the die to see what the weather does. Sun lets you peg a piece of laundry to the line, clouds make you skip a turn, and a rain cloud forces you to take a piece of laundry back off the line. If you roll a storm, the clothesline spins around like a tornado and grandma loses all her laundry. The first player to get all four of their pieces on the line wins.
The game is designed for 2 to 4 players from 4 years and takes about 5 minutes per round, so it's easy to play several rounds in a row. The spinning motion needs 3 AA batteries, which are not included.
Thanks to its short playing time and simple rules, this is a fun board game for young children and a nice gift for a birthday or family evening.
