Time's Up! Kids is the children's version of the well-known guessing game from Repos Production, designed by Peter Sarrett. The cards carry no words but drawings - animals, objects, jobs - so preschoolers who cannot read yet play on equal terms. And you do not play against each other but together.
Each round you draw twenty cards. In the first round you describe what is on them without saying the word itself, and the others guess. In the second round the same pile goes round the table again, but this time you act the cards out. Two rounds instead of three keeps games short enough for young players. The sand timer sets how long each turn lasts.
The box holds 220 illustrated cards, a sand timer, the rules and a storage pouch. The box states: 4+, 2 to 12 players, 20 minutes. This Belgian edition is bilingual Dutch and French.
Handy when a big mixed group is around the table: with twelve players the youngest, parents and grandparents can all be on the same team. The Panda box can also be combined with the second Time's Up! Kids box for more cards.
