Cluedo Escape: Sabotage on the High Seas is a board game from Hasbro that combines the familiar Cluedo characters with an escape-room experience. You've been invited aboard the luxury yacht Lady Marigold II, but during a storm the captain falls overboard and the ship begins to sink. Together with the other players you must escape the yacht and work out who is responsible.
The game is cooperative: you don't play against each other but work together. The board is built up room by room as you move your pawns, draw cards and solve puzzles to unlock new areas of the ship. Along the way you gather the clues you'll need to make the right accusation at the end.
The box contains board panels, character cards, clue cards, pawns and a sealed solution envelope that is only opened at the very end. The game is designed for 1 to 6 players from 10 years and is a one-time play experience: once solved, the mystery is unravelled.
Thanks to its cooperative element, this makes a great gift for a family game night or for fans of Cluedo and detective games who want to crack a mystery together.
