Risk Junior is a children's version of the classic strategy game Risk, with a cheerful pirate theme. Inside the box you'll find a game board, 4 ships, 2 dice, 32 pirate pawns (in red, yellow, green and blue), 12 treasure cards and a game guide.
Each player sails their pirate ship across the sea in search of hidden treasure, trying to conquer as many islands as possible. To take over an opponent's island, you load a die into your ship and press the lever to launch it, determining the winner of the battle. Whoever holds the most treasures and islands at the end wins the game.
The game requires no reading skills, is quick to set up and a round takes less than thirty minutes. The box states an age of 5 and up. Risk Junior is designed for 2 to 4 players.
Thanks to the familiar Risk feel in a simple, playful form, it makes a great gift for children discovering strategy games for the first time, and a fun game to play together as a family.
