Battleship is the classic strategy game from Hasbro Gaming, now packed into two sturdy, portable combat cases that double as the game board. Each player gets their own fleet, including a carrier, a battleship and a submarine, hidden on their own grid.
Taking turns, each player calls out coordinates to 'fire' on the opponent's fleet. Red pegs mark a hit, white pegs a miss, so you can track where you've already fired. Whoever thinks logically and dares to guess at the right moment is the first to sink the entire enemy fleet.
The cases fold shut into a handle, making the game easy to take along to family or friends. The box states an age recommendation of 7 years and up, played with 2 people; the packaging measures roughly 5.9 x 26.7 x 24.1 cm and weighs 1.5 kg.
A fun gift for kids who enjoy a bit of strategy and suspense, and a great game to play with a sibling, parent or friend on a rainy afternoon or while travelling.
