Trivial Pursuit Family Edition is the family version of the classic quiz game, published by Hasbro Gaming. The box contains a game board, 400 question cards (200 yellow cards for children and 200 blue cards for adults), 2 card holders, a die, 6 plastic pie pieces and 36 marker triangles, along with the rules. All text and questions are in French.
Players answer questions from the set matching their age group and collect pie pieces in different colours. Whoever completes their pie first wins the round. Because children and adults each get their own cards, everyone at the table can play at their own level.
The packaging states an age of 8+ and 2 or more players. A round is designed to play at a brisk pace, ideal for a family game night.
With its mix of children's and adults' questions, this is a nice gift for a family that wants to play together, though the French-language text is worth bearing in mind before buying.
