Trainer Guess is Zanzoon's guessing game in the shape of a Poké Ball. In this Sinnoh Edition you think of a Pokémon from the Sinnoh region and let the ball guess which one it is. The box sums it up in a line: 'Ik raad aan welke Pokémon je denkt!' - I guess which Pokémon you are thinking of.
The device has speech recognition - 'Praat met mij!', talk to me, is printed on the packaging - so your child answers out loud instead of hunting for buttons. The game is entirely in Dutch. Besides the device, the box holds a Pokémon Trainer Veldgids, the field guide in which you look the Pokémon up and keep track of your collection.
The box names 107 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region and carries an age roundel of 6+. The side panel states that 3 AAA batteries of 1.5 V are included, so the game works straight after unpacking.
Good for a child who knows Pokémon by heart and likes challenging someone with it, and handy as a present because there is nothing to buy alongside it.
