The box holds the Snuffie Hup base: a green hill full of holes with Snuffie the rabbit on top. You also get 12 carrots, 4 carrot trays, a spinner and the rules.
You spin the wheel, which says how many carrots you may pull out of the hill or have to put back. Turn by turn it goes on, until someone gets hold of the one carrot Snuffie was not giving up. The rabbit pops straight up. Whoever has the most carrots at that moment wins the game, though catching Snuffie out of the air makes you a winner too.
The box states from 4 years, for 2 to 4 players, and a round takes about 20 minutes. There is no reading, so a pre-schooler can join in straight away with an older brother, sister or grandparent.
A good present for children who like suspense but do not yet sit still long enough for a classic board game. At a birthday party it is explained in half a minute.
