The Nexcube Cobra is made of 24 coloured prisms, linked together and each able to turn. From the cobra shape it comes packed in, you fold it into something else entirely: an animal, a letter, a block or a figure of your own invention.
The box reads CREATE 100+ SHAPES, and a mini guide of figures to copy comes with it. Once you have those, you start looking for your own, which is the best part. There is no single right answer and no clock running, so it stays in your hands as long as you like.
The box states 8+. The puzzle is small enough for a coat pocket or a rucksack and needs no table, no batteries and no second player, which makes it handy on the move, in a waiting room or in the car.
