This is the Dutch-language edition of Shit Happens, with the subtitle 'voor sukkels die geen Engels kunnen' printed on the box - for fools who cannot speak English. Inside are 200 cards and a set of instructions. Every card describes a setback and carries a misery index from 1 to 100.
Each player lays out three cards in order, mild on the left, disastrous on the right. Your neighbour reads out a new card without showing it, and you say where it fits. Judge it right and you keep the card. Ten cards right and the game is over.
Goliath gives 2 to 12 players and a playing time of about half an hour. The cards deal in Dutch and Flemish predicaments, so the jokes land without anything being lost in translation.
The box reads 'Spelers 2+ / Leeftijd 18+'. Expect crude humour: an evening's worth among friends, or a present for someone not easily shocked.
