The VTech Marble Rush Rocket Set is an electronic marble run with a space theme. The box contains a building set of 79 parts and 10 marbles, along with a step-by-step building guide to assemble the blue towers, ramps and connectors into a course with a rocket at its centre.
Once the course is built, release the marbles at the top and watch them travel down through loops, slides and a lift mechanism ("press and go"). In the Launcher Challenge, you push a marble horizontally into the course, and in the Button Challenge, you test whether you can press the button in time. Every time a marble activates the rocket, lights and sound effects go off.
The course is built up from 3 levels, from easy to challenging, so children can build it up step by step. The box states an age recommendation of 4 years and up.
This is a fun gift for children who enjoy building, marble runs and a bit of action and sound, combining free play with marbles and light-and-sound effects in one set.
