The Knit's Cool Knitting Studio from Spin Master is a knitting set that uses no knitting needles at all. You set the knitting posts into the studio base and loop the yarn around them until a knitted band grows out of it. The box sums it up itself: Create & Wear 3 Designs.
Along the bottom of the box it says 1 KIT / 50 yds (45 m) of yarn. That yarn is split into 18 m pink, 18 m blue and 9 m purple. Also inside are knitting posts in three sizes, a crochet hook, a darning needle, a row counter, a yarn holder, four buttons and charms, and an instruction booklet. The base doubles as a storage box for whatever is not in use.
That yarn makes three things to wear afterwards: an infinity scarf, a boho headband and a case for your phone. The buttons and charms go on as the finishing touch. No batteries needed.
The box says 8+. A present for a child who likes working with their hands and would rather make something they can put on straight away.
