The blister holds three face-paint sticks from JOVI's Twist range, in orange, olive green and brown. These are the earth tones of the range: the colours for camouflage stripes, animal fur, a tiger's muzzle or a thoroughly grubby pirate face.
The sticks work like a lipstick. You twist until the tip comes out and draw straight onto the skin - no water, no palette, no brush to rinse between colours. That helps when you are painting a child who will not sit still for long. Colours can be laid over one another and rubbed out with a finger into an even block.
The paint is water-based and comes off again with soap and water. After use you twist the tip back into the barrel and put the cap on, so the sticks can simply live in a drawer or a party box.
Three sticks are enough for one face, or for a couple of arms covered in stripes. Worth keeping to hand for carnival, Halloween, a dressing-up party or a youth-club camp.
