Five 35 ml pots of gouache with a brush alongside, in a box you simply open out on the table. The colours inside are blue, white, yellow, magenta and black: with white and black in the set you mix the rest yourself, which is half a crafting afternoon in itself.
Gouache, or poster paint, is the paint of the art lesson: thick enough to cover, and thinned with water. JOVI prints 'excellent covering power' on the box, and with this kind of paint that is exactly the point - one coat and the paper underneath disappears.
The pots are wide enough to get a brush into without scraping paint down the rim. The box is marked 3+ and 'témpera escolar', school tempera. The brush supplied is a plain round one to start with.
A practical little gift, or a refill for the craft cupboard: small, inexpensive, and the sort of thing that comes out by itself on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.
