The box holds ten round chalks from JOVI in assorted colours, article 1020 in the Classcolor range. The window at the front shows which colours are still in there, and a slot at the top lets you hang the box up.
Coloured chalk does on a blackboard what white chalk cannot: mark a word, fill in a box, tell two teams apart on a scoreboard, or give each day of the week its own colour on the family board in the kitchen. The colours show up best on a black or dark green board.
JOVI sells the Classcolor range as low-dust chalk: it is said to give off less chalk dust than ordinary school chalk. The chalks are round and of the usual school-chalk thickness.
Useful alongside a box of white chalk, and small and cheap enough to slip into a birthday parcel or a school pencil case.
