Giant Chalk from Cra-Z-Art consists of five sidewalk chalk sticks in an extra large format. Where ordinary sidewalk chalk is about as thick as a finger, these sticks are considerably broader - through the window in the box you can see them lying there in purple, mint green, light blue, yellow and red.
That size changes the way a child draws. A single stroke fills a wide band at once, so a rainbow, a rocket or a hopscotch course is down in a few passes. And a thick stick is easier for small hands to hold than a thin piece of chalk, which makes it a good deal less frustrating for younger children.
