The Cupcake Activity Set 'Mermaids' from Gusto Kidz Baking Club turns on the three words on the box: Bake, Decorate, Play. A child bakes real cupcakes, decorates them and then sets them out on a display of their own.
The box holds silicone cupcake moulds, a piping bag with nozzles, a mould for mermaid tails, a card cupcake display with mermaid decoration, a sticker set, cupcake recipes and an instruction leaflet. The front states 15+ pieces.
The bakeware is in the box, the ingredients are not: flour, butter, eggs and sugar you buy yourself. Gusto describes the moulds as real bakeware at child's scale; the display you put together yourself out of card, so the cupcakes fit on it.
A gift for a child who likes being in the kitchen, and an activity that fills a free Wednesday afternoon without effort.
