This lamp has the shape of a sitting panda: a round white body with dark brown ears, two dark eye patches, a small snout and dark brown arms and feet. In the middle of the tummy is a round button with the familiar on/off symbol.
On the box it is pictured lit, and then the whole body glows from within with a warm, soft light.
A lamp with a face does well on a bedside table, a bookshelf or a window sill in a child's room: during the day it is simply a panda standing there, and in the evening it gives light.
The box carries a 4+ age roundel. The brand on the packaging is Glamourgirls. A pleasant present for a child's room, with or without a birthday as the occasion.
