A plastic ice cream cone filled with 113 g (4 oz) of Kinetic Sand Scents: scented modelling sand in two colours. The top of the packaging is shaped like a scoop of ice cream and works as a mould; the cone underneath is the box the sand goes back into after play.
The sand can be pressed into the scoop, tapped out, and flattened again. Kneading the two colours together leaves you with a third, and for many children that mixing is half the fun. The packaging reads sable à modeler: modelling sand, not beach sand.
The packaging states a net weight of 113 g and an age recommendation of 3 years and up. The cone closes again, so the sand stays in its own container between play sessions instead of ending up in a bag or a drawer.
Colour and scent combinations vary from cone to cone and are supplied at random, so you cannot choose which one you receive. A small gift on its own, or an addition to a larger Kinetic Sand set already at home.
