This box holds one 24-piece jigsaw puzzle from Clementoni's Super Color Maxi range. The pieces are deliberately big, so that small hands can grip them and slide them into place. Assembled, the puzzle measures 62 × 42 cm.
The picture sets three scenes side by side. Stitch sits in the middle, with a red character on the left and a pink one on the right; hibiscus flowers, palm leaves and a little house among the greenery finish off the setting. Those three clear sections help, because a child can work through one character at a time instead of taking in the whole puzzle at once.
Twenty-four pieces spread over 62 × 42 cm makes for good chunky pieces, handy for anyone still practising. Do lay it out on the floor or on a big table, though, because the picture is wider than most side tables. The box says from 3 years.
A lovely present for a preschooler who is fond of Stitch, and a puzzle big enough to build together with a brother, a sister or a grandparent.
