This box from Clementoni's Disney Classics line holds three separate jigsaw puzzles of 48 pieces each, with scenes from The Lion King. On the largest print Simba walks along a fallen tree trunk in the jungle with Pumbaa and Timon. The second shows Rafiki holding the newborn cub up on Pride Rock, with the birds around him. On the third, Mufasa sits beside the young Simba as the sun goes down over the savannah.
Forty-eight pieces per puzzle keeps things clear: a child gets through one in a single sitting and can then start the next. Anyone who knows the film will see straight away which moment is on the table.
Each finished puzzle measures 21 x 20.5 cm. This is the Super Color range; the box carries a 5+ roundel.
A fine present for a child who has watched the film to pieces - and for parents who still recognise the drawings themselves.
