Manhattan from above, in 2000 pieces. The Empire State Building stands at the centre of the image, surrounded by the towers of Midtown, the flat roofs with their wooden water tanks and technical installations, and in the distance the harbour fading into a hazy horizon.
This one is for people who like plenty of detail. The facades are mostly grey and glass, so you work from the recognisable buildings and the rooflines towards the open areas. The pale sky at the top is the restful part; the streets in between ask for the most patience.
With 2000 pieces the finished puzzle comes to 97.5 x 66.8 cm in landscape format, so a large table or a puzzle mat is no luxury. The item belongs to Clementoni's High Quality Collection.
A classic gift for a New York lover, or for someone for whom a thousand pieces is not enough.
