Fifty supple scoubidou strands in mixed colours, supplied in a bag with a cardboard header card from Kim'Play. A folded leaflet comes with the strands, its drawings showing the basic knots step by step.
Scoubidou is braiding with four strands at a time: you start with a cross and knot layer after layer until a tight coloured cord takes shape. The card pictures a keyring, a little dog and a long-legged creature - the sort of figures that work out after some practice.
It is work for fingers with a bit of patience: the first knot takes effort, after that it comes by itself. Children turn them into keyrings for their school bag, or to give away to friends.
Please note: the leaflet supplied is in French. The drawings largely speak for themselves, but the text alongside them is not in English.
