Glowies is a plush firefly that is cuddly toy and light at once. This one is blue, with gold glitter wings, a yellow crescent moon as antennae and a musical note on its tummy - that note is the button.
Squeeze it and the abdomen lights up softly. The firefly plays lullabies and quiet sounds with it, and according to the Dutch product descriptions you can set a timer of 15 or 30 minutes, after which it falls silent by itself. The wings, eyes and antennae have glow-in-the-dark elements that keep shining afterwards.
The plush is around 27 cm tall and 14 cm wide and runs on 2 AAA batteries, which according to Intertoys are included. Intertoys gives 3 to 10 years.
A present for a child who likes taking something to bed, and handy for anyone who would rather not have a bright night light in the room.
