The Trolls Hair & Fashion Maker from Sambro is a craft box with one clear instruction, printed on the packaging itself: decorate your own hair accessories. Inside are hair clips, a hairbrush, a hand mirror, a comb and a headband with a pompom and bows, along with pots of beads, sequins, stick-on gems, glitter and ribbon.
The child picks an accessory, works out a pattern and sticks the gems and beads on: packed tight for a fully covered clip, or scattered loosely around a figure of Poppy and her friends. There is no right or wrong result, and anything finished can go straight into the hair.
The beads are sorted by colour into separate pots, pink, white, turquoise, purple and dark blue among them, so the sorting is done before you start. The box gives an age guide of from 5 years.
