A floppy rubber snake with scaled skin, black banding and a painted head, from the Toi-Toys Animal World range. The card reads 'stretches up to 2 meters': take it by head and tail and pull, and it goes far longer than it looks when coiled.
So it is mainly a snake to carry around: stretch it, wind it round an arm or the back of a chair, drop it into the animal box with the other beasts, or leave it somewhere nobody expects it. In a collection of toy animals it is one of the few pieces that changes shape.
The snake comes in three colours - red, black and green. The product photo shows all three side by side, but you receive one, in a varying colour. Order three and you still have no guarantee of three different ones.
A small gift for the sweet bag, the birthday table or a Saint Nicholas shoe, and a cheap addition to a box of toy animals.
