This round box from the Tik Tak range holds four animal puzzles side by side. Each puzzle shows a single animal in a photograph: a pelican, a tiger, a panda and a bison. They run from six to nine pieces.
The pieces are large and thick, with an animal a small child recognises at once by the whiskers or the beak. Because the puzzles differ in the number of pieces, you can start with the smallest and build up step by step to the hardest.
The box measures about 20 x 20 cm and is 12 cm high, with a red cord as a handle. All the pieces go back into it after playing, which with four puzzles mixed together is the difference between a tidy cupboard and a mess.
