Betsy is a grey-and-white plush rabbit with blue eyes, pink inner ears and a lilac bow with daisies between her ears. She sits in an open box with a try-me opening, so she works straight out of the packaging.
Betsy does more than sit still. She hops forward the way a real rabbit does, with ears that move with every jump. When she hears her name she wiggles her ears and makes small sounds. And she likes being stroked along her back.
She is a little skittish too: call too loudly and she lets her ears droop, sounds frightened and walks away. That makes her less of a press-the-button toy and more of a rabbit you take into account.
Betsy runs on three AA batteries. The age roundel on the box reads 18M+, so from 18 months. Once she stops walking she is still simply a cuddly toy, which keeps her useful for the child who is slowly growing out of her.
