This leaf rake from Kokido is the net you take round the pool once leaves, twigs or other debris have settled on the bottom. The frame is blue plastic, with a rectangular opening and a deep bag hanging beneath it.
The lower edge is shaped as a scoop: you slide it flat along the bottom so the dirt slips into the bag instead of swirling away ahead of the net. Because the bag is deep, you bring up a fair load of leaves in one go before it needs emptying.
The mesh is fine, at around 2 mm, so smaller debris stays caught rather than washing straight through. At the back there is a socket that takes a telescopic pole. That pole is not supplied: you clip the net onto the one you already use.
Useful to keep alongside a surface skimmer net. That one clears the leaves off the surface of the water; this one lifts what has already sunk to the bottom.
