This Glitza set comes in a ball that opens up. Inside are a removable work tray, a storage compartment for the design sheets, a mirror and beneath it a secret compartment you lock with one of the two keys supplied. The tray has a well for mixing glitter colours, two wells for keeping glitter and a section for nails.
There is no shortage of designs: one hundred and sixty of them. Applying one works the way it does with the smaller Glitza boxes - press the stencil down, film off, sprinkle glitter over the tacky layer and sweep away the excess. Two brushes come along, a fine one for applying and a big one for sweeping, plus five pots of glitter and an empty pot for a colour you mix yourself.
Four pieces of jewellery come with it to decorate: a large clear bangle, a heart-shaped pendant on a cord and two heart-shaped rings. They give the play a point beyond skin - a child finishes a bangle with it and has something to keep.
At that size this is the big present rather than the extra: something for a birthday, or for a party where several children work on it together. Afterwards the ball doubles as the storage place for everything that belongs to it.
