Anyone who swims often knows the greasy ring that settles along the waterline. Sun cream, body lotion and skin oil stay on the surface and deposit themselves there. The AquaKrystal from Kokido is made to take up exactly that film: the packaging says it absorbs dirt, body oil and suntan lotion from the water surface.
It is a block of foam in a many-sided crystal shape, around eight centimetres across. Kokido gives two ways of using it: let it drift about loose, or lay it in the skimmer basket so the water is pulled past it. Because the shape is symmetrical, every face takes its turn however it rolls. Once it is saturated you wring it out and put it back in the water.
Kokido reckons on roughly a month per crystal in most pools and spas. The packaging lists all three uses: in-ground pools, above-ground pools and spas. So whether you have a pool in the garden or a hot tub on the terrace, it works the same way.
You receive a single AquaKrystal. A small, cheap addition to your maintenance that you notice most when the pool is busy and everyone gets in freshly creamed.
