The Skooba is a suction-side cleaner. It has no motor and no battery of its own: the suction comes from your pool's filter pump. You connect the hose to the skimmer or the suction fitting, click the head onto the pole and draw it slowly across the floor.
The set contains the vacuum head with its brush strip, the pole and a hose of 5 metres. Assembly needs no tools: the parts slide and click together. The pole extends to 178 cm, enough to reach the whole floor of an above-ground pool from the edge.
The brush strip at the front loosens sand and deposits, after which the water carries the dirt through the hose to your filter unit. Make sure the pump is running while you vacuum and check the filter afterwards, because that is what catches everything you have loosened.
Meant for small and medium-sized above-ground pools, as an affordable alternative to a pool robot.
