This Kokido dispenser floats on the surface of your pool and holds the chlorine or bromine tablets you put into it. It is the large model in the range: it takes the small tablets as well as the large 3-inch ones.
Using it is straightforward. Unscrew the blue lid, drop the tablets into the white body, screw the lid back on and let the whole thing float. At the bottom there is a ring with slots that you open up or close down; that sets how much water flows past the tablets, and so how quickly they dissolve.
The body is plastic, with the blue lid on top and the adjustable ring underneath. No installation is involved: you put it in the water and it floats. To refill it, you simply lift it out again.
Handy if you look after your pool yourself and would rather not drop the tablets loose into the water or into the skimmer every time.
