This vacuum head is the part that hangs on the end of your telescopic pole and glides across the floor of the pool. The wide, square shape takes in more surface with every pass, and the wheels keep it rolling instead of snagging on a seam or a ridge.
Steel counterweights sit inside the head. They press it down onto the floor, so the suction does not drop away the moment you pull a little faster - exactly where the lightweight models start to float. The flexible design lets the head follow a gentle curve in the floor.
The hose connector fits both 32 mm and 38 mm vacuum hoses, so your existing hose can stay. Kokido states that this model suits many types of pool, including small to medium in-ground pools. A telescopic pole and a vacuum hose are not supplied.
The obvious replacement once your current head has cracked or the wheels have given up. Measure the diameter of your own vacuum hose before you order - 32 or 38 mm, either one fits.
