This self-floating solar cover fits the round Steel Pro MAX pools of 457 and 488 cm, and the Power Steel and Power Steel Swim Vista Series of 488 cm. The sheet measures 462 cm across and so lies just inside the rim of the pool.
The material is sturdy polyethylene in blue. In sunshine the water underneath warms up faster; after that the cover helps to hold that temperature longer. The surface is covered at the same time, so less leaf litter and dust ends up in the pool.
No fastening is needed. Roll the cover out over the water when nobody is swimming and take it off again before you get in. A carry bag with an insert sheet is included for storing the sheet out of season.
Mind the diameter of your own pool when ordering: this is the size for 457 and 488 cm. For a pool of 549 cm and for the smaller round pools there are other versions.
