The Large Pelican from Didak Pool is an inflatable swim ring with a pelican on it. The ring itself is white, with fine grey feather lines printed into it, and on one side the neck rises up, with a large yellow bill and a red throat pouch beneath it.
You step through the middle of the ring and let it rest under your arms, with the bird out in front of you. On the water you drift around calmly in it, and along the edge of the pool it sits there just as decoratively. The size icon on the box gives 110 cm, measured across the ring.
Inflating is done with a pump or by mouth; after the summer you let the air out and fold it flat, after which it takes up little space. The front of the box gives the name in three languages: Pelikaan Zwemring, Bouée Pélican and Pelikan Schwimmring.
A striking piece for the pool or at the seaside, for anyone who would rather take along something other than a plain swim ring.
