This little car from Clementoni's Soft Clemmy range comes with eight soft Clemmy blocks. The white body has coloured inserts in red and turquoise with raised patterns, green wheels and a turquoise roof that lifts off.
A baby pushes the car along and feels the soft panels while doing so, each one a different texture. Through the soft side a toddler posts the blocks in and pulls them out again, a game repeated endlessly at this age. On the roof the blocks stay put, so there is stacking too.
That roof opens and becomes the storage space for all eight blocks. The blocks are soft and light, sized for small hands. According to Clementoni the car and the blocks can be washed, dishwasher included. The manufacturer states 6 to 36 months.
A gift that lasts a while: feeling and pushing first, posting and stacking later. Suited to a first birthday, or as an addition to a collection of Clemmy blocks already in the house.
