The LEGO DUPLO Big Interactive Community Train (set 10428) is a 103-piece building and play set built around a small village with a train station, a windmill, a crane and a car wash. The train itself moves forward with simple push-and-go action and has light and sound, so young children see results right away without needing batteries for the bricks themselves (batteries not included for the train).
The box includes 5 coloured action bricks that each trigger a different action, such as the car wash or the crane, plus two DUPLO figures and an animal to extend the village story through play. Children push the train along the track, load and unload the wagon, and act out scenes around the station.
The set is designed for children from 3 years, as stated on the box, and includes 103 DUPLO pieces that are large and easy for small hands to handle.
A nice gift for a toddler just starting to build and invent stories around trains and a village, and thanks to the familiar DUPLO bricks, easy to combine with other sets.
