LEGO DUPLO Wild Animals of Asia (set number 10974) is a building set that recreates a slice of Asian nature: a mother and baby elephant, two pandas in a hollowed-out tree, a mother and baby tiger, a monkey hanging from a vine, two birds and two red pandas among the bamboo. It also includes a blossom tree with a waterfall and a slide, plus a fold-out playmat.
Children build up the bamboo stalks and the blossom tree, place the animals, and act out the whole animal park. The box shows a battery-powered sound brick that plays animal sounds when pressed.
The set contains over a hundred DUPLO bricks and is intended for children from 2 years, as stated on the box. The batteries needed for the sound brick are included with the set, as is the playmat.
A fun gift for toddlers who love animals and zoos, and for anyone who enjoys playing with big, easy-to-grip DUPLO bricks and making up stories around the elephants, pandas and tigers.
