The Glitter Edition of Clics comes in a white bucket with a pink lid and a handle. Inside are 175 pieces: 133 building blocks and 42 accessories and stickers, with plans for eight figures. Clics works with round discs that click into one another, so a child can start straight away.
Once those eight models are done the real work usually begins. All the blocks fit together, so a child does not have to stick to the plans and will just as happily build something that appears in no booklet at all. The stickers then give the figures eyes, faces or other details.
The bucket doubles as the storage system: lid on and everything is back inside, which with loose building material is the difference between finding it again and searching under the sofa.
The word Glitter in the name refers to the finish of the blocks. In size this bucket sits a step below the large Clics boxes, which makes it a manageable gift for a child who likes building and making things.
