LEGO City Police Prison Island (60419) builds a prison island on a rocky outcrop, featuring a watchtower, a cell block, an escape tunnel to an abandoned mine, and a laundry room where prisoners hide tools. The set comes complete with a police helicopter, a police boat and an inflatable dinghy, and includes 980 pieces.
The island comes with 7 minifigures - 3 police officers and 4 prisoners - plus a police dog and a shark figure. Kids build the island themselves and then act out scenarios: an escape attempt across the water, a helicopter rescue, or a chase among the rocks.
The built island stands over 37 cm tall and 40 cm wide. The set is suitable from 7 years, as stated on the box.
With its many rooms, figures and vehicles, this set is built for extended building and story play, and makes a great gift for kids who love LEGO City and police stories.
